For store owners

About our price checker

If you see AmmoHubCA/0.1 (+https://ammohubca.com/bot) in your logs, that's us. We list stores that ship to California FFL03 + COE holders and send buyers straight to your product pages.

What it fetches

• Only your public product feed for a few ammo categories (9mm, 5.56/.223, .22 LR, 12 gauge, .308): Shopify's /collections/…/products.json or WooCommerce's public Store API (/wp-json/wc/store/v1/products).
• Never carts, checkout, accounts, search pages or anything robots.txt disallows.
• No images, no product descriptions stored, no personal data.

How politely

• About every 3 hours, one request at a time per store, at least 4 seconds apart, and slower if your robots.txt sets a Crawl-delay.
• On HTTP 429 or 503 we honor Retry-After; on 403 we stop for that run.
• Responses are requested gzip-compressed, at the largest page size your platform allows, so a run is a handful of requests.

Opting out, or a better feed

Add User-agent: AmmoHubCA / Disallow: / to robots.txt and we stop on the next run. Or email hello@ammohubca.com. If you have an affiliate datafeed (AvantLink or similar) we'd rather use that, and we'll fix any price or policy we've shown wrong.
